Application Process

  • Submit an application by the deadline

    Submit an on-line application or bring a hard-copy (with all attachments) or mail to the HHA’s offices at 475 Maple Street, Holyoke, MA 01040

  • Application screened for eligibility

    All completed applications will be reviewed to assess eligibility with regard to income, assets, First-Time homebuyer status. Applicants who have been deemed ineligible will be notified in writing and giving time to review with the HHA.

  • Lottery

    On August 6th, a lottery will be held over Zoom. Lottery numbers will be assigned in the sequence in which they are drawn and recorded in the order of selection. The list of numbers drawn will be posted and letters will be mailed within 3 business days to the winners.

  • Award Units

    The accessible unit will be awarded first, followed by the 4-bedroom units at the two income tiers and the 3-bedroom units at the two income tiers. Please note that units will be awarded based on household size. Local units will be awarded first.

No emailed or faxed applications will be accepted

The application deadline is 2pm on Friday, July 11th.

No applications will be accepted late.
